Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. What this policy covers
This page lists every piece of data track-finder.com stores in your browser — both HTTP cookies and browser-local storage (localStorage) — what each one does, and how you can clear or refuse it. Operator: Traffic netWorks, Speditionstraße 8, 40221 Düsseldorf, Germany. See also the Privacy Policy for the broader data flows.
2. Categories we use
We split client-side storage into three buckets:
We do not use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, social-media embeds with cookies, or any third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, etc.). There is no data sale to third parties.
3. Exactly what we store
3.1 Strictly necessary
3.2 Functional / preferences
3.3 Analytics
Vercel Analytics' privacy details: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
4. Third-party sign-in
If you choose "Sign in with Google", Google may set its own cookies on your browser during the OAuth handshake on accounts.google.com. These cookies are governed by Google's privacy notice, not ours. After the handshake completes, the resulting session token lives in track-finder.com's own localStorage (see § 3.1 above). We do not receive or read Google's cookies.
5. No tracking across sites
track-finder.com does not load Google Fonts at runtime (we self-host the font files via Next.js), embed YouTube players, Facebook widgets, or any third-party script that would set cross-site cookies. The only outbound third parties are the infrastructure providers explicitly listed in the Privacy Policy (Supabase, Cloudflare R2, Vercel, Mistral AI, Apify for admin-only YouTube fetch).
6. Managing your choices
- Withdraw / change consent: click the floating cookie icon (bottom-left of the page) to reopen the banner, or clear your browser's site-data for track-finder.com and reload. New visitors see the banner automatically.
- Browser-level controls: all modern browsers let you block cookies and localStorage per site. Some functionality (staying logged in, remembering preferences) will stop working if you do.
- Delete your account: wipes server-side data; you can also clear browser storage afterward to remove the local tokens. Go to Account.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever we add, remove, or change what gets stored in your browser. Material changes will also be flagged in the in-app cookie banner the next time you visit. The current version is always available at track-finder.com/legal/cookie-policy.
